Hello!

Hello, little artists! As you may know, we all started out wanting to draw and began with lil kindergarten drawings. X3 Eventually, we grew to become more detailed in our drawings.

However, this blog is about growing in that and improving more. Throughout my life in junior high, I wasn't very open-minded. I drew well, but I knew nothing about character design. Until my freshman year of high school when I learned about Glen Keane, my now greatest hero, I began to experiment in my drawing skills to find my own style and I still do now as I'm more open-minded as ever. That's because I always look for amazing character designers and animators and their blogs to see how they discovered their style, and it inspires me more to find my own. And I want to share that with you guys.

Unfortunately, for some... or most of you, you guys have no access to mentors to help you out with character design and such. Popular artists are hard to contact for this kind of aid. Fortunately, I will try my best to cater those of you who want to improve on your art, as long as you have the confidence and dedication to do so. Kind of off-topic, but being a Christian, I'm bent on helping those who want to get better at drawing, and I want to be a good role model to you guys. I want to be the kind of artist who is helpful and responsive to those who want my help. So in this way, I feel like I'm making a difference. A small one, but I know it'll be big to you guys.

Well, that's all for now. I'll have new posts eventually when I begin to mentor you guys with what I know. And know this; I'm in art school, so I'll share what lesson I learned to you guys, so as you learn, I do as well.

God bless,
Vane
